Debian is known for not using fresh software in their stable distribution. Therfore
I installed Debian using a beta version of the Debian installer CD. Then upgraded packages to the newest ones, using some even from unstable or testing. This is possile by configuring apt the right way. In my repository you will find the current versions of my sources.list and preferences file.
