It's a bit cloudy and so I go to the science museum to see the "20 Years Pixar" exhibition before it closes June 10. It shows how many sketches, drawings and models are made by hand even though the films are animated completly on the computer. It was not allowed to take pictures.
I could take picture of what would have been the very first computer if it would have been finished when Charles Babbage had designed it. But work could not be terminated because of lacking of funds. The machine shown here was built by the museum and finished in time to make its first computation on the 200th birthday of Babbage. In the last picture you see a second piece in construction which will go to another museum.
I spent the rest of the day walking around the city but was too lazy to take pictures.
