Today I went to Rochester to meet Diana. It's a 45 minute ride with the train from Victoria station. I used the time to write the pages of the previous days of thi diary. The batteries of my laptop lasted just long enough for this travel.

Rochester castle. The tents in front of the castle are remains from the Dickens festival which was held the weekend before.

After that we walk to neighbouring city Chatham where we have lunch. We then sit down in a café where I can get current for my laptop and show Diana all the pictures I took in London. Finally we visit Chatham library where I can connect the laptop to the internet and read my e-mail and upload the first few pages of this diary.
