Looking out of the window of my hotel room I see a grey cloudy sky. Because of this I spend a part of the morning in the hotel room. Then I leave to get an early lunch and walk a bit around. Just when I arrive to the old City Hall which now hosts the Museum of Brisbane it starts to rain and this convinces me to visit it. It's current main theme is the City Hall itself which was inaugurated exactly 75 years ago.
From the City Hall I take the free loop bus exiting it at a place near the river. From there I proceed with a ferry to "South Bank" park. A park with a sense of humor as one can see from the pictures, and with a huge swimming pool with own sandy beach.
At the end of the park I visit the art gallery café - did not enter the art gallery itself - to get a hot chocolate. Just in time, as for the next 10 minutes it rained heavily. But even afterwards it continues raining in a bit of a strange way, it rains for a few minutes then stops for a few minutes then rains again etc. I walk back and get the next ferry bringing me to the side of the river where my hotel is and then straight back to my hotel room.
