Though the temperature in Darwin is a bit lower than in Alice Springs one sweats here so much that even me, scary of water, showers twice a day.

I start the day with a walk along the coast, and slow walk with a lot of breaks wherever there is shadow. I'm surprised at the many dragonflies I see here.

No pictures today. This time it's not the batteries of the camera who are low but mine :-) I'm not in the mood of taking pictures.

Seems I'm not even in the moood of thinking clearly. In the early afternoon I reach the Darwin bus interchange. Here you can get day tickets for the bus which you unfortunatly cannot buy in the bus itself. I decide to buy one and let me carry around by bus but the counter is closed until 1:45, the same time the next line 4 bus - scenic route to Casuarina - departs. Instead of just waiting for the next bus I buy a ticket to the endpoint from the bus driver. This is stupid as it does not allow me to take stops in between and continue with another bus.

The Causarina bus interchange at the end point is right near a large mall. As I did not eat anynthing until now, I enter. All inhabitants of Darwin seem to be here in the cool halls. I walk a bit around until I reach the food court and get something to eat, buy me a bottle of water and exit to make the next mistake. The exit is right at the bus interchange and I ask myself if it is worth to get now a day ticekt and decide against it as it is already mid afternoon and enter the bs to Darwin. Only when it departs it occurs to me, that here I wanted to walk down to the beach.

Oh well, somehow the time has passed. Back in Darwin I spend an hour at an Internet café then another two hours in the park near the coast until it is dark. Then dinner and back to the hotel taking again a shower.
