There is a special wake up call this morning: A false alarm of some fire detector. I'm waked up by a loud screeming noise. First I uspect the alarm of the clock, but then I understand its the fire alarm. So I take the next exti to the street.
A car of the fire brigade is already approaching. Makes one feel safe to know they arrive so fast. But there is no real work for them besides verifying, that it is indeed a false alarm.
I cannot get sleep again, so I shower and get dressed. First I walk a bit around some part of Alice Springs I have not seen yet and there is also not much to see. So I decide I will - except for the two days tour to Uluru/Ayers Rock and Kata Tjuta/The Olgas - not do anything more here than relax and some computer stuff and just enjoy the warm weather.
