Victoria Square Tram in Glenelg
Beach of Glenelg Beach of Glenelg

Almost all is cosed in Adelaide on Good Friday. Thus I took the historic tram to the beach of Glenelg. Hier the tourists are more important than the public holidays.

Adlaide has two centers. The City or CBD (Central Business District) is almost rectangular and limited on it's four edges by four Streets called North, East, West and South Terrace. Here you find mostly shops, restaurants and offices. On the other part of the river a bit more elevetad is North Adelaide which is primarly a place for living. Given the looks of the houses, I'd say rather an expensive place to live, even though the planes which land in Adelaide fly right above it. These two centers are surrounded by a great area of parks and even a golf field. Out of that the suburbs where most of the people live mostly in houses of which you see a few examples below. I took this pictures on my tram ride from Glelelg back to the city.
