Today it's cloudy and windy. I take a bus which brings me outside the city to Annandale. I'ts time for lunch and I sit down in a café to eat a "Quiche Roma" with salad.
After the table is cleared up I take out my laptop and start studying the catalog I downloaded the day before. I spend all of my computers battery while thinking about what I want to do. Then I take the next bus back to the city. In the hotel I first look up on the web where there is another CountryLink Travel Agency, as I don't want to return to the man who gave me the catalogs before.
In the new place a nice lady is serving me. She takes care of booking train hotel and tour I wish to take. I'm lucky I can book all at such short term. But then when I want to pay, the credit card is at its limit. And this two minutes before the travel agency should close. Fotunatly I can get most of what I have to pay as cash from a nearby ATM. The nice lady had to do some overtime, sho she could finish off all booking for me. But i'm happy, that now my train ride to Darwin, and the stay in Alice Springs is settled.
