I need to figure out the next steps of my travel. For this I go to a CountrLink travel agency. It's noon, and the clerk seems not to have had lunch yet. He gives me a bunch of catalogs and says I should study them and return in an hour.
I went to the Royal Botanic Garden to do the studying. Unfortunatly he gave me the catalog of the Top End and not the Central part, which interested me more. So I spent much more time relaxing and with the computer.
When leaving the botanic garden I heard strange noises in the trees. Bats! I spent a while trying to take pictures of one flying.
My new hotel room is on the 10th floor and has a magnificent view... onto a construction site and the neighbouring sky scrapers. Well, ah view onto the ocean would have been much more expensive. The good thing is, when I place my laptop near the window I can get signals from an open hotspot. I use it to connect to the internet and so I can download the right catalog from Territory discovery.
