First I took a breakfast in the Boadway Café. I choose this, because it has free wireless internet access. This allowed me to read my e-mail and put up the first web page on my Australia holiday. Fried eggs, bacon, beans, sausages: Not a really healthy breakfast, but it had the advantage to keep me going for the whole day.
Later I continued walking on Bradway southwards until reaching Victoria Park, where I paused for a while. Later I walked up to the University of Sydney you see in the first picture at the end of the park.
From there I futher explored the surroundings of Broadway - the pictures show one of the side streets - walking back northwards.
This brough me to ailway square. There is a ?Unterführung? below the Central Railway Station through which I got back on the side on which my hotel is located. That's where I headed to, so I could ake a rest. Probably still because of jetlag I was so tired, that I slept for about two hours. I didn't want to, but was too tired to fight against it.
With fresh energies I walked a long way via Hyde Park to Mrs. Macquaries Point. This is where all tourists go to take a picture with both the opera and the harbour bridge in the background.
